Sarah-Jane Boler, who lives on Lovelynch Farm, is the owner and manager. She is assisted by Heather Bindon, who does a marvellous job of taking care of all the animals who live on the farm.
The menagerie consists of Alpacas, Kune Kune pigs, pygmy goats and Devonshire long wool sheep. There are also bantam chickens, peacocks, rabbits and guinea pigs.
Alpacas originate from South America and resemble a small llama. Their fibre is used for making knitted and woven items and is silky to the touch. Kune Kune Pigs only arrived in the UK in 1972 from New Zealand. Their name in Maori translates as `round and fat`. Our pygmy goats, from Southern Sudan, grow to 50cms and come in all variety of colours.
